One of my main goals over the past few years was to become a digital nomad!

If you don’t know what that means, here’s how Wikipedia describes it:

Digital nomads are a type of people who use telecommunications technologies to earn a living and, more generally, conduct their life in a nomadic manner.

Such workers often work remotely from foreign countries, coffee shops, public libraries, co-working spaces, or recreational vehicles.

I’ve worked hard to be able to easily take my work wherever I go, and be productive anywhere that I want to work from. Some of my favorite places to work from are restaurants, and a wide range of them, from Tim Horton’s to more formal restaurants, my ideal spot has a booth, and great nachos!

When you run your own business, specially when it’s in the early stages, there’s no such thing as a real vacation, but if your business is portable, and you can work from anywhere in the world, then you can still get a decent vacation!

All you really need is a computer and internet access, and you’re good to go!

I’m working on a couple posts, one highlighting the different types of work that you can do, and the other showcasing the tools I personally use! If you’re a digital nomad, or an aspiring one, I’d love to here your thoughts, tips, and suggestions about it!
